Inspired by Hallowe'en and the Samhain Parade
LSAD Fashion Textiles for Product & Costume Department created street performance costumes based on Hallowe'en and the Samhain Parade inspired by Michael Hogan’s poem Drunken Thady and the Bishops Lady and the theme of quarantine.
Samhain is a highlight of the year for us in Limerick. Lumen Street Theatre have created a special festival that Limerick people have utterly taken to their heart.

Mummers, Masks and Mischief

In Association With Ormston House. This talk will explore the traditional straw masks and costumes of Ireland. Who made them, when they were worn, and why? Masks give people license to misbehave.
